The story follows the daily life of Kizuna Hida, a high school student possessing the HHG (Heart Hybrid Gear) ability, who joins a defense school to fight alien invaders. Reiri Hida, his older sister, sees Kizuna as the perfect means for the trainee combatants to regain energy faster by forming a relationship with him. And so begins a most embarrassing life for our young hero.
