Following the eradication of all adults by a virus, vampires appear on Earth to control the surviving children, considering them as livestock. Yuichiro Hyakuya survived with the other orphans by giving his blood to the vampires, until his escape 4 years ago. Since then, he has become a member of the Moon Demon Company, a unit of the Japanese army, with the aim of hunting down the vampires responsible for the death of his family.
